Support our Schools
One of my top priorities is seeing a new Fairview Elementary School built. Having served our community since 1962, the building is well overdue for a replacement.
We also need to support our teachers by prioritizing "classroom-first" spending. By trimming away unnecessary overhead, we can give our educators the competitive support they deserve while keeping our community’s finances on solid ground. It’s about being savvy with our resources today so we can build a brighter—and balanced—tomorrow for everyone.
PRIORITIES
Keep Williamson County Safe
Last year, we secured pay raises for the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department, bringing them to the 75th percentile. We need to maintain that momentum.
Our next priority is supporting our volunteer fire departments. Looking ahead, we must decide: does the county need its own fire department, or should we strengthen our mutual aid agreements with city departments?
Rural Protection through Managed Growth
"I have witnessed Williamson County transform from a largely rural community into a sprawling suburban area. To protect our unique character, I voted for the five-acre-per-household requirement in the county’s unincorporated areas. As growth continues, we must establish stronger partnerships with our municipalities to ensure infrastructure plans are fully in place before new developments are approved. We have to be proactive, not reactive, in managing our county's future."
